History

Unity has an interesting history. It started when the founder, Mega, was playing in another team and found that he had many friends that were at a high level of skill in Counter-Strike. So he began banding them together to form the team R6.

After the first semi-successful season they then decided they needed a name change. After some consulting with a few member over a game of Beer Pong (also known as Beruit) they came up with the name Unity.

The team has gone through three different rosters and has had semi successful seasons the whole way. Right now the team is stagnant and not recruiting or participating in any leagues. This may change in the near future as Mega has been able to devote more time to playing the game. The next few months will be the determining factor.
